i've got enough to play five $11+1 sit n gos today. since it takes a calendar month to withdraw money, i really don't care if i go broke, but it would be nice to win a few.
key hands only. heres to accountability.
tournament one.
#1: utg makes it 3x BB, i pick up TT in the BB and flat call. flop is KsQs7d. i check, he bets less than half the pot, so i put him on weak and call. almost raised but i think keeping the pot small is probably the best move here. turn is a 4c. i check he checks. unless he is trapping i am now sure i have him beat. the river is a blank, i check he fires 285/450 and i go into the tank. i am convinced he doesn't have a pair, or he has an underpair, and i call. he turns over AJ and i take the pot. up to $2100.
#2: i pick up 98 one off the cutoff and make it 2.5x BB. BB calls. flop comes QSJ3S. he checks, i think about betting, but check behind. the turn is the Ts. i am delighted although this puts a flush out there, i think he has a weak pair and might call me on both streets. i bet out he calls. the river is a blank and i make the same bet i made on 4th and he folds. up to $2400.
#3: UTG limps, i make it 3.5x BB in the cutoff. UTG is the only caller. his stack represents about a little more than half of mine. flop come T85 and he moves all-in. i insta-call and love the fact that he has 33. however, i forget i am the unluckiest person in the world and a 3 peels off on the turn. nice one, full tilt.
#4: immediately i pick up A2 on the button and shove for 800. SB shows 88 and if i am behind i am drawing comlpletely dead. gg. i probably should have picked a better spot, but getting two-outered will do that to you. on to the next one baby.
tournament two:
#1: nothing happens until the 25-50 level when one off the cutoff makes it 4x BB and i have QQ in the hole. i have about $1400 in chips and he has me covered. i think about calling but there are a few players behind me and i would like to isolate so i make it $500, essentially committing myself. he shoves and i insta-call, villian has AhJh. flop comes all babies, turn is a Q, and i take down a monster pot. up to almost $3000.
#2: i pick up QQ AGAIN (3rd time in less than 50 hands). blinds at 50-100, UTG limps (this is sounding familiar). i am one off UTG and make it 390 to go. BB calls, but UTG raises all in for a total of $1000. i reraise to isolate and pray it's not a bigger pair. he has 99, doesn't improve, and i take the pot.
#3: blinds at 60-120, and i am very much the chip leader. on the button i pick up AA and raise 2.5 into two stacks with <$1300. SB calls, BB folds. flop comes K hi with two spades and he autoshoves for $900. i can't see folding here and he turns over the KJ. my pot as he doesn't improve. up to $5200, $2000 more than 2nd place. no way i blow this.
#4: i make it 2.5x BB in the cutoff when it folds to me with ATo. the BB min-raies and i fold. he has been min-raising and limping HUGE hands and he is the only stack that can damage me.
#5: the button raises 3x BB and i have 88 in the hole. i move all-in putting him on a steal and both he and the BB fold. $5600.
#6: i sucked out, sorta! 5 handed, the shortstack moves all-in UTG for $750. my A4 doesn't look fantastic but i have busting chips. he shows KdQd. i flop a 4, but he turns a K. river is a 4 and i take the $1500 pot.
#7. four handed with blinds at 120-240. i have AQo in the BB and the SB just shoves into me with 78o. board is no help to him (i actually make queens full) and i wonder if the site is broken.
#8: oopsie! shoved with T8 in the SB, dude picks up 77, i don't improve.
#9: finished 2nd. REALLY shoulda won this. moved in with KT and he has A7! everytime i make a move they have a hand, it's unreal.
