(no subject)
Last night was another REALLY late night for me. Melissa and I went to the funny bone to see a hypnotist. My sister had won free tickets, so there was a large group of us there. And I love my sister. The show was great, lots of fun, and about half way through, I got a text message from French, inviting me out to Long Branch. She and Miranda drove from Sherwood Forrest to pick me up. It was this hole in the wall bar (no drinks for me!), where I was interrigated by a few 40+ year old men. It was amusing. They said they had to because they liked French and had to check me out.
Anyhow. we didnt' get there till 1:00, so we stayed until close. Then we went to Waffle House with one of the guys, who was rather intimidating. Miranda had way to much to drink, so we spent most of the time just trying to get her back. We finally got her here and left her on the couch sleeping. French left and went home around 5:30. Needless to say I got very very very little sleep.
So tonight, I'm driving us out to New Orleans. I'm not a big fan of going out in the city, but I love the company. After that, we're gonna chow down on some orange jello. Ha. I love Jello. Tonight is going to be another long time, but I'm really having a great time. I can't wait. New faces, and French is always fun.
Anyhow, I've done pretty well today. I did a bit of cleaning, but not nearly as much as I would have liked. Had a few downs, but not as many as usual. I guess that means I'm getting better, and I'm finally adjusting to all of this. Its sinking in that this is how its supposed to be, and looking out for me is helping. I'm lucky to have so many people that actually care about it. How I overlooked them for so long, I have no idea. Anyhow, I better start getting ready so I can make it to New Orleans for a super night!
