Have you had a dvd from nct yet, we STRONGLY advise thowing it the bin without veiwing. Its presented by an ex big brother contestant and it contains the usually bunch of adverts for insurance etc but its mainaim is to terrify you into joining the nct with "uplifting" stories how women could notpossibly cope without the nct support network with worrying stats on post natal depresion. also it has teen mums pregnancy and birth she has a home birth with pool and Her younger brothers and sisters get in with her! There's a bit with the midwife saying how she supports a mothers dcision but the look on her face said freaky chav bint! I'm not sayingtbe nct is an evil band of mother racists and they do have a wide range of services but its very expensive the video is scaremongering. But then again you can never have to much support

I haven't had a DVD from NCT yet, but I was a bit unimpressed to find their courses were £80 per couple, with it in the very small print that £39 of that is an optional joining fee.
I'm just too much of cynic to be that bothered that things like the DVD, however considering what pregnant women do in birthing pools, for which you need a sieve, I wouldn't want to be in there!
