I ended up driving over to Ruth's by myself last night (without crashing, getting lost, or dieing in any way, thank you brain!), it was nice to just spend some time with her. Ali got in just before 7 and Simon's train arrived at 7, so we had a nice evening together catching up. Megan was so not shy she was getting very silly, and Ali finally has a job he likes and will hopefully keep, so its all going well for them for once. We left at 9, drove home and crashed out.
This morning Simon dropped me off at work and drove over to Wakefield to test drive a silver '08 Vauxhall Mariva we'd seen online. He has bought it, and we can collect on Monday, its at the garage and ready to go so hopefully we won't have the same problems as with the last one. This one is also £7,900 and they are offering us £1100 for our car, as opposed to £8,900 with £700 part ex. We are quids in, they hopefully aren't useless bastards, and this one has a lower mileage too. It doesn't have a sunroof, but we'll survive! Its also Friday, so all round Yay!
