As much as both Kurt and Puck just wanted to stay in bed all day their stomachs began to complain loudly about lack of food. Kurt whined at Puck's suggestion to get up. He usually didn't eat breakfast anyway.
"Come on. We need food." Puck coaxed and Kurt gripped Puck tighter. He didn't want that safe and cared for feeling to end. "Kurt come on." Puck said and pulled Kurt into a full sitting position. As if on cue their stomachs rumbled again and Kurt cursed under his breath. Then let himself get reluctantly led downstairs, his and Puck's hands entwined.
"So what's for breakfast?" Kurt asked as Puck opened the fridge. Then Puck seemed to get an idea. And smirked. Oh god Kurt knew that smirk promised a devious plan.
"Take a seat I'll get it." he said and began rummaging in the fridge in earnest. Kurt wearily sank into a chair at the kitchen table.
"No, scratch that." Puck amended and closed the fridge door. Kurt raised an eyebrow at him. Puck outright grinned and pulled Kurt out of his seat. Then proceeded to push gently on Kurt's shoulders, a silent request for him to kneel. Kurt hesitated. "You said you wanted to try taking orders." Puck murmured in Kurt's ear. "So trust me and take them now." he finished and Kurt gave into the pressure and fell to his knees beside the kitchen table, oddly satisfied with doing as Puck said.
And then Puck was walking away, back to the fridge and he could hear Puck rummaging around again. Leaving Kurt kneeling on the floor. It sounded like Puck was pulling out ingredient
"Puck." Kurt spoke up wearily and Puck just said:
"Trust me."
Kurt didn't have a watch on, so he has no idea how long he sat there, only after a while he became restless. He wasn't used to being like this.
"Stop fidgeting." Puck said when he returned to the kitchen table to see Kurt fiddling with his hands. Kurt looked up at him, watching Puck put a plate of something on the table. The angle made it hard to see. Kurt employed his 'kicked puppy' expression, hoping that he'd be allowed to stand up. Puck chucked and ruffled his hair. Kurt leaned into the contact despite how patronising it was meant to be. "Come on, I know you can sit still." Puck said and Kurt defiantly kept fidgeting. "Oh it's gonna be like that is it?" Puck said with amusement and then he left the room. Kurt followed him with his eyes.
"Puck!" he called out, unsure why he was so worried. But Puck was back a moment later and had a hand in his hair. Kurt lent into the contact.
"What's your safeword?" Puck asked and Kurt swallowed before answering.
"Magpie."
"Can I trust you to use it?" he asked and Kurt looked up at him.
"Yes." Kurt answered immediately.
"Do you need to use it now?" Puck continued and Kurt shook his head. "Then trust me." he said and left the room again. Kurt looked down at his hands and began to wring them in earnest. Was Puck going to leave him in here to stew?
If that was the plan, it wasn't for very long. Not five minutes later Puck re-enteredn the kitchen holding something. Something decidedly silky. Before Kurt had time for a proper look Puck was crouching behind him and grabbing his hands so they were together between them.
"If you can't stop fidgeting, you're not going to relax." Puck said as a way of explanation and tied Kurt's hands behind his back. Then tied his wrists to his ankles. Hobbling him. Kurt tested out the restraints and found them to be secure.
"And I'm meant to relax like this?" Kurt questioned dubiously, pulling at the silk holding his wrists together.
"Worked last night." Puck said smugly and Kurt blushed. Puck stood up and sat down in a chair to Kurt's left. Then to, Kurt's utter bewilderment, began to eat his breakfast. Like kurt wasn't fucking kneeling on the floor next to him. As Kurt watched Puck ate a couple of mouthfuls and had loaded up another bite of syrupy pancakes, but instead of putting it in his own mouth he lowered it down to Kurt's level. Kurt's eyes widened at the gesture. Was Puck seriously expecting Kurt to let himself be fed?
Apparently so.
Kurt stared at the portion of food, unsure of what to do. Then he thought fuck it and opened his mouth to accept the food.
There was some thing strangely... intimate about eating like this. It scared Kurt a bit, but not enough to stop eating. And Puck was right. He did relax. He lent into the bonds, letting everything else fall away, letting his mind only focus on Puck and the food Puck was giving him.
It also made him hard as hell, much to his frustration and Puck's amusement.
At some point the food stopped coming and Kurt found himself pleasantly full.
He hadn't eaten a full breakfast in months. Oh Gaga, this was going to go straight to his hips wasn't it?
Puck frowned at the newly restless boy on the floor.
"Whatever you're thinking. Stop." Puck said, putting a soothing hand in Kurt's hair. Kurt leant into the contact and stopped squirming. "That's it." Puck encouraged, Kurt moaned into the contact.
Puck wished he could just keep Kurt like this: relaxed, feeling safe. But they had things to sort out. They needed to really talk before they dove much further otherwise they'd be in over their heads.
And that just wouldn't do.
So with a sigh Puck leant over and undid Kurt's restraints.
"'s time to get up baby." Puck said with regret and he was surprised to hear a loud moan of protest. "Come on Kurt." Puck encouraged and Kurt slowly got to his feet. Puck pointed at the chair opposite him and Kurt slipped into it, still not saying a word.
Puck folded his hands in front of him, determined to get at least the basics out of the way before they continued.
It was time to test the waters.
