I'm so nervous! I'm sooo nervous. I have to go back to school on Friday and it's scary and I'm not sure about it at all.
I definitely got the job at UTS, and I'm going to be working a minimum 16-hour week which is super scary! I just got an email that I have to go in on Saturday the 5th to show off my 1337 typing 5ki11z and complete some training and create a schedule. Oh my goodness, I have a real job in real college and I'm going to be a real person. SOSCARED.
I also realized that I'm reading nine books in Dr. Harpold's class next semester. NINE. For one class. Which may sound like a small number, really. And they'll be enjoyable books, so it probably will not be so bad at all. But that does not change the fact that I am scared and nervous that I will not be amazing enough.
And I have to type fast. I told them that I could type 93 words per minute which is generally true, but that is with my laptop, and not their scary scary computers. I don't know if I can type that fast on an unfamiliar keyboard. I'm super slow on my mom's whatever keyboard. And what if the keys are loud and what if I suck and they hate me and make me leave for lying about my typing speed? Ahhh I should have underestimated myself. I'm not even sure that they'll have my application in-hand when I talk to them though. And they said that competence in English and grammar is the most important, since I'll be transcribing speech.
Nine books. Fast typing. How is this all going to turn out?
Also, Iowa caucus is tomorrow. I'm predicting Suckabee for the Reps and Obama for the Dems. And you?
