I should look at the news more often. Getting it from Penny-Arcade is by far not the best choice. That being said. What is this bullshit? I understand if you're punishing someone and you take away things they like. That makes sense to me. Claiming that D&D causes gang behavior and that fantasy games in general are dangerous makes me want to hurt someone. And trust me, that violent urge doesn't come from gaming, it comes from reading about people being stupid and harmful.
Edit: I felt this important enough to put in the main post. Skuld has a good point, in that this is pertaining to a prison setting. It still urks me because of the wording. But I can certainly see how something like that might be a disruption of the peace in that setting.
In lighter news, the room is now almost 100% clean. There's just a few empty boxes to get rid of and I have to clear my desk off again. That's it. It's something like half an hours worth of work, maybe an hour if I decide to be slow/lazy. I'll take pictures once it's all nice.
