i think it will be a sudden snap to a cold fall/winter.  the grasshoppers are early this year, the squirrels are already running around frantically like they dont usually do until late September.....etc., etc.

early this morning (anything before noon on the day after a Fair is early, just so you know, this was 10am) UPS delivered many many boxes.  These boxes contained:
my new aluminum rolling jewelry cases
    to replace the cat shredded and not so secure soft sided cases i used to have.

Have re packaged more than half the loose earrings and pendants in my "oh its all in that bag" bag....

well i took mom to the Opera... it was two  short Operas with an intermission between them:
L'Enfant Et Les Sortileges by Ravel and Collette
Gianni Schicchi by Puccini

while the staging was very well done on L'enfent, it couldn't save the basically bad plot.  the music was pretty, and it was all very surreal, but in general not an opera i would go see ( Read more... )
