I had no idea what she looked like
She has only ever seen this Icon which is several years out of date...
she said she was in jeans and a red t shirt, i told her i was in jeans and a Turquoise t shirt
so here i am standing at 2nd and Market peering at every woman wearing a red "might be a T shirt" i see..... i finally had the bright idea to pull my hair out of the bun since she has seen my usual Icon, and would more likely recognize me with my hair down.
as it happens i think the recognition was pretty quick once we both actually got to the intersection.
but i had this horrible feeling i was going to have to explain to someone "no i am NOT just oggling people ....i am trying to meet this person..." ... "no i dont know what she looks like"..." umm.... i know her first name... i think...."
Only on teh internet, right?
