shopping, shirking, etc...
well,
littleblueghost was in town for a conference and managed to get in touch with me today... so i actually did get to meet her before she ran off to her next stop on the whirlwind tour of the USA....
i, naturally, took advantage of this to take her to my favorite all you can eat sushi buffet ( Ruby Buffet, Delaware avenue) for dinner, followed by a quickie run up the riverfront for some photo ops... and a race to see if we could get to Franklin Mills mall before it closed.
we did.
we came, we saw, we went shopping! (Veni Vidi Visa)
While chattering away endlessly at her (if she has a shell shocked look when you see her its my fault, sorry) i took the poor woman to Steve and Barry.. (yeah this is a correction i mistyped it before)
to look at the Sarah Jessica Parker "Bitten" line.. which we both agreed had potential (everything under 30 bucks, most stuff under 20) but they do need more in large sizes and for a wider range of body types... still.. after faerie con i will SOooooo be shopping again. There was a stunning pair of corduroy pants in dark green... hmmm.....
i walked more this evening than i have lately, which is probably good for me.
AND by some coincidence i haven't managed to get any work done on the jewelry this evening... but really.... i mean i HAD to drag the poor girl all over creation and go shopping, its her last night in town! honest, she's from out of the country...
