viking costume, pennsic, and how i SPENT at pennsic...
well, at Pennsic this year i committed shopping....
you see at one point during war i went up to Historic Enterprises (black swan designs, the Tudor house up near Your Inner Vagabond) and as long as i was trying on the St Louis Gowns (linen tunic dresses) i tried on their brand new Viking Apron dress...
unfortunately i was wearing a chocolate brown with stripes St. Louis Gown.. and the wool Apron dress turned out to be grey wool with chocolate brown flecks.. and fitted me like it was made for me. .. and i was carrying that day's cash receipts....
so being the proud owner of an apron dress i had to buy Viking bling.
i already had broaches from Raymond's Quiet Press...so the bead nut went shopping for Viking beads...
apparently this was also a mistake, as i kept finding "really nice ones" all over pennsic. (also i got some very nice beads given to me for volunteering at Chirurgeons point.)
so having gotten home i remembered i needed to buy some things.. and found more viking beads.... so i guess i will now be making some Viking bling for sale, since i cannot wear it all.....
