college blog: medical issues, dropping classes, and re taking them
so... to recap:
owing to the horrid reaction to the anti depressants, i had eventually to drop two of my classes.
they tell me i will be able to re take them for no additional charge because it is a clear cut medical (i get that excuse ONCE)
i had HOPED to re take them over summer, but needed an over ride....
I didnt get it.
so i am officially signed up for three classes that are NOT the ones i need to re take, keeping me on full time status....
now a few facts most people do not know.. there is currently a HUGE fight going on between the school owners and the teachers union. one in which i am firmly on the side of the teachers by the way...
so i understand that its quite possible that it may be a direct result of that making the teacher of the "needs an over ride" class may feel unable to give on the point of "this many students and not one more"
i kind of hope so.. because its the same teacher of the same class i had a melt down in.. so i am trying to be positive and not think its just that she doesnt want to deal with me
i am deeply concerned that the heat this summer will make school very difficult. its been really bad already.
