so i got to Templecon
so i got to Templecon.
nice enough event.... not very good money wise, pity
fabulous dealers room, but i suspect not enough signage and probably too many dealers to the number of attendees. a few logistical issues... (empty rooms are the death of the rest of the "dealers row")i may give it another go, depends on what else is that weekend next year.
HOWEVER... while there i engaged in plotting and conspiracy with a fellow merchant. we eventually roped a couple others into our nefarious schemes.
you see.. Anime Boston is coming up
now one of the issues is cost... its not cheap to do, even without hotels
the OTHER issue is holidays
you see Anime Boston is usually on Easter Weekend.. and THIS year its not only Easter its also Passover and a few other holidays!
well, Silver Owl Creations celebrates Passover.. so Friday and Sat night are taken with family seders....
and Lady Guendalina's Closet and I celebrate Good Friday and Easter... so obviously we cant do Anime Boston....
UNLESS WE TEAM UP!
so we have an application in for Anime Boston as a shared space...
Guen and i can cover Fri and Sat nights.... and tag team each other for Friday and Easter Sunday... and Kendra can take off fri night and sat entirely and cover for us on sunday...
and we are all available for set up and break down
