i received a box yesterday from Anderson and Sheppard http://www.anderson-sheppard.co.uk/
First i must state that EVERYONE on and near Saville Row that i have contacted has been helpful in the extreme. Given that, Anderson & Sheppard has gone above and beyond helpful.
They sent me, from London, at their cost! a "suit bag" (a serious garment bag i would totally travel with), a tie box (which probably costs more than most ties i see in stores), a shopping bag and... the aforementioned 8x10 (and larger) color pictures with images of suit jackets, cutting in progress, tailoring, and the shop in London.

just so you know other companies have graciously provided permission to use images from their webpage (one even calling me on the phone to do so) and i may yet be getting some more items that i had to arrange to pick up and ship......
i am absolutely floored.
bear in mind, ALL of these shops were told up front that i am a student, not a buyer or editor (yet), and that this was for a school report.

i want to go to London, and in addition to the museums that i have wanted to go to for YEARS i will be spending about a week just walking the Row.
