its too blasted hot, srsly!
since i got home from Pennsic we have been fighting the battle of the drain. we have it narrowed down to the point that we know WHERE the blockage is happening...... and we can get it flowing (albeit slowly) by torturing the drain with chemical warfare agents.. but its so badly gunked up that at random intervals more gunk wedges in place and we have to "re clear the drain".
sigh
ick
whine
etc
this doesnt affect all the drains in the house, merely the back yard storm drain and the kitchen sink.. (and the sump pump). still..... its annoying.
i have several unwashed sheep fleeces that i MEANT to have washed and prepared to either comb.. or drum card... uh.. right. the drain thing makes working in the back yard with greasy fleeces not a good idea.so i havent gotten any of them done.
i had this silly idea that i would have a lot more cleaning done also, but between the drain and the heat... not so much.
still, the van unloading proceeds slowly but it does proceed.
and we had to buy a new Air Conditioner, as it turned out the old one was spending more time dying than cooling things...the temperature here in the bedroom is much better with the new AC.
shrug
i just feel like i am not accomplishing much cowering in the AC.... but it beats another bout of heat exhaustion.
