back from Southern region spring war camp (an SCA event).
i saw a TON of folks, most of whom i didn't know would be there.. i think i spent a lot of time going "but i could have brought..."  sales were, frankly, extremely poor. I admit i was hoping for more shopping since it seemed to be a well attended event, but it wasn't.

probably a lot of folks saving their money for Maryland Sheep and Wool this coming weekend.
I will be at sheep and wool on SUNDAY.  so anyone who wants to get together hang out and chat, etc... get in touch.
SATURDAY i am taking a class at Bead Fest Wire in King Of Prussia, PA... this event is put on by Interweave Press (yup, the magazine folks) and a similar event occurs in August:  "Bead fest Philadelphia"

it was very hot and sunny at the sca event, whouseknecht got a bad sunburn and i got a bit myself. if this is a test run for Pennsic i am in serious trouble.  aaaaaaaaaaand since my check cleared for Pennsic, i can safely assume i am merchanting at Pennsic again this year.  i will *probably* be on street of Gold, but i never count on my location until i get the space number.

It is going up over 80 degrees (F) today and tomorrow, according to the news...extremes of heat and cold are not good for Kirsten's.  i have been hospitalized for heat exhaustion/dehydration almost every year for the past 5 years.  this is why some people think i am nuts for doing pennsic, but.. but..... its PENNSIC!

a reminder:
i have to place a fiesta yarn company order this week.  if you want to get in on wholesale prices, order a bag (4 skeins from this company) of all one color and type of yarn and pay up front.  they make a lot of yarns, in a lot of colors....

the Babe Fiber Garden order goes in next week.  25% off any  spinning wheels , and many other products, but the order must be in by next Monday.  (yes i can fiddle with that by a little but, but only if you tell me soon)

wire, maryland, beads, spinning wheels, spinning, yarn, pennsyclvania, sales, update, sheep
