WOW! great news for anyone into Steam Punk or even close....
brute_force is having a "open workshop day" May 16th and a model/open house/photo day May 17th at his house/workshop. he posted in his own LJ and in steamfashion so go there for more details, but basically?
all the time on the spiffy cutting laser you want. free use of his tools and workspace.. and many many clockworks and gears and neat stuff available for playing with.
if you have ANY way of getting there GO!

Sadly, i will be working that weekend. i will be selling things at the Lions Club sponsored West Windsor Rennaissance Fair (put on with help from the SCA ) in West Windsor NJ that weekend, along with Auntie Arwen and many other wonderful merchants and demonstrators. if you cant go to his workshop, please consider coming to see me at the faire.
PS this is the guy who makes the corsets i sell.....if you buy one from him at least tell him i sent you along, deal?
