another change without notice

just so you know the background.....
my hubby is allergic to Nutrasweet (aka Aspartame) and i think the stuff is poisonous.  if you are one of those folks who can have it , more power to you.. but i dont think its safe, and hubby gets sick.

we CAN tolerate Splenda (yes i know not everyone can) and we use a lot of splenda products.  One of these products was Lipton's ice tea to go.  these are packets of tea mix that you can put into bottled water.  they are convenient and Wayne drinks a lot of it at home in a large cup.

well apparently the last box load we got changed its ingredient listing without any notice.  they went from splenda to nutrasweet and of course why are we reading the labels of something we have been using for years?????

so wayne has been ill and cranky and nasty and saying things like "my skin itches" for a month. and we have been trying to find out what the heck he is reacting to.  we knew some things, because they triggered asthma attacks... which cleared up when we got the trigger away from him (sadly like my bird) but the overall problems continued.
so on the way home from Bika he has me make him some Iced Tea and i happen to look down at the packet and see the phenylkenoturics warning..... "say what!?"
read package........WTF!?
look at box????
look at other box?????
find older packets from box left in van months ago.. "splenda"
look at new boxes "aspartame".

i really think they should be REQUIRED to post a notice saying "ingredient change" when they do this shit.

allergies and anaphylaxis, aspartame
