Birka, Update etc
home safe and sound... but very tired.
While Birka is always "old home week" and i see lots of friends and etc...sales at this year's Birka sucked. if this event were not 7 hours drive away it might have made money or broken even , but with the hotel bills and boarding the dog and etc expenses we lost money. sigh i really needed to NOT lose money on this event. will have to work to raise funds for some bills that i expected to pay from Birka receipts.
took some pictures on site, hope to have new bead pictures, boxes pictures, and etc up soon... maybe tomorrow.
had two new minions help out at Birka.... they show great potential, but of course right now they dont know the stock or anything about my set up. Apparently they know a LOT of people at Birka, mostly from other events/renn fairs/etc.
Saw lots of folks. if i saw you at Birka, please comment so i can keep track.
In other news:
found out the ingredients in one of our staples changed without notice and its now not Splenda, but Aspartame (which hubby is allergic to), details later.
