Going to Portland today to just get.out.of.town. We are going to stay at a small sheraton owned hotel, only a hunnerd bucks, discounted, using our sheraton points we got in Hawaii. I'll be glad to be on the road, road trips are soothing. It's miserable rain, but it's better to be outside than inside where it's near pitch black. The
place looks like a W hotel, lite-version, and has a small pool. I'm just going to float around in it, that will be fun, and mostly we are going to look for food trucks because that's a big thing there, and eat eat eat. I'm going to hunt down fabric and yarn, portland is a big DIY city. So, you'd think seattle is just the same, but....we just don't have too much time for food trucks and DIY, whereas Portland tends to have more energy for that stuff, and less emphasis on big money crap. No retail tax! But, M and I are skint, we're saving to go to vegas or Hawaii in feb, whichever we save enough money for. i'm only 30% excited about it, mainly going through the action to be in action, it's a shame.
