So, big news guys... my boyfriend has a collapsed lung.
He's in the hospital right now, and they're going to do a chest tube to release the air, but he's pretty scared right now, as am I, despite reading up on it. The prognosis in general is okay, as long as it's not left untreated, but having one means that you're at risk for more, and they can lead to cardiac arrest, which is not something you want to hear when you're seventeen.
So if you could kind of keep him in your thoughts, I'd really appreciate it. I'm sure he'll be fine, but it's still scary. If you're religious, feel free to pray, if you're not, just some messages of comfort will serve admirably.
