Boring

Oct 21, 2008 20:23

I feel like I should post a real entry, even if it's about my personal life and boring, but I just don't feel like typing. I've been busy too, don't have much time for LJ lately. I try keep up with my Friends Page though, but there's no actual time to sit and type, especially with my precious attention spam.

Okay. Stuff has happened, not very interesting stuff, but still...

School sucks.
I will surely fail my Physics test this friday.
English and Religion - my most hated classes, which I will not get tired of mentioning - are way easy but still suck.
I had a Religion test today for which I didn't study and am certain I got a good grade, the same story goes for my English test last week. Just give out pretty answers with big words and what they want to hear.
She used the word interesting like eight times. Oh, that is ten points for sure right there. Nice. Nerdfighters probably get that joke. (Didn't use the word interesting once though.)
I have a school trip tomorrow. We are going to see a play adaptation of a book we are supposed to read in Spanish, which is good as I'll already have an idea when I actually read the book. Plus, time away from school is always well-accepted.
Read The Minister's Black Veil today in English class. Finally, I get to see what this Hawthorne guys was all about. The symbolism was pretty easy to crack, methinks. I may have it all wrong though - the teacher hasn't discussed it yet.
I'm having trouble making a decent "ghost picture" for my Photo Shop class.
I went to a friend's house today. We were supposed to work on an environment project for Religion class, but we ended up not doing it, as is always the case when I meet someone to study. We book-swapped... I got The Host and she got 13 Little Blue Envelopes. I won't probably have time to read it until December. Sad.
Haven't gone to the movies in a while. I will probably have to wait as two of my nearest theaters went on bankrupt and left. Stupid economy.
I have a Halloween party this Friday. I doubt I'll dress up, but I surely will for actual Halloween. I'm thinking of going as a Gypsy, not comerialized baring-it-all Gypsy woman, but as real as I can get without looking sad (i.e. raggedy and dirty). If that fails, I and a group of friends will be Goths.
I am so enamored with this band called Soda Stereo. I learned about them through a friend some time ago, but hadn't really listened to them until now. They are a seriously amazing  Argentinian rock band from the 80s who broke up when I was still in diapers, but the years do not make their greatness fade away. I absolutely love them. I mean, I bought one of their Cd's and have been listenting to it ever since I bought it last Friday, that says a lot - I don't ever buy Cd's. For Spanish speakers on my friend's list and anyone who is simply curious, I recommend them.
Busted my headphones once again. Don't know what I shall do tomorrow without them...

halloween, personal life, school, books
