So my husband is now 30! We had a little family dinner with my grandparents, my parents, sister, and then assorted uncles. It was a nice night. We (Rich and I) went out Saturday night (the 1st) with my sister and had a lot of fun. We stayed at Hawthorne Suites for the night so that way neither of us would have to drive. It was WICKED nice! Like really, I want a bed like that for our house!!!!!! Earlier in the day Saturday we met up with Sarah Jordan (Turner) and Amanda Hackett from camp and went out to breakfast and then out to camp. We crashed a family reunion, it was lots of fun!!!! At times I really do miss camp, the...i don't want to say easiness, but really it's similarities to NeverLand...ok so maybe I just never want to grow up. There we don't have as much to worry about. Speaking of worrying...Rich and I have our interview with immigrations on November 7th, so everyone PLEASE keep us in your prayers and/or thoughts that day. With any luck they'll give Rich what he needs and he'll be able to start working. Speaking of working...the greek resturant I was working at is a MAJOR pain in the ASS!!! So last week...well two weeks ago, they were cutting hours, so whatever. Rich and I went to the mall and i filled out SO many applications...idc if I get a job there, I just need a job. So whatever. I called them last Sunday to get my schedual and was told that the schedual wasn't made yet. So whatever. I called on Tuesday (resturant is closed Mondays) and was told it still wasn't made, so I called again later in the day, then I called again on Wednesday and the woman who makes the schedual told me she hadn't made it yet. She took my number and said she'd call me...gee it's now...Sunday, 5 days after she said she'd call...and guess what????????? Yuppers, no call. Oh well. I went to Maroubu the spa in Skaneateles, and with any luck I'll be getting a full time job there. My uncles fiance works there, so she's put in a good word for me. I'm so sick of all this crap. But...on the up side, I've figured out what I want to get my masters in. I want to get my masters in reading. Become more like a reading recovery teacher. I LOVE working with kids, but I like working with them in small groups more than in a whole class situation. I loved watching and helping my ESL students as they grew as readers. Now I've just gotta get my application put together and submit it.

This weekend is Kates wedding. I'm excited for that. It should be a good time.
