Fucked up shit
Well, my lovely time of resting has become a time of great stress. My dad is in California right now visiting my sister. He's scheduled to come home tomorrow, and I've just found out that he will be unable to unless I return to work. I've been talking to a person in HR who is responsible for the decision and she is unwilling to change her mind for me. My manager says my option is to send my father his medicine that he needs through FedEx so that he can stay longer. My plan as of right now is to "return" to being on reserve Thursday morning, just enough time to get my father on his plane ride home and then call back and return to disability. I am so mad and frustrated right now. I can't believe they won't help any other way. I guess I will just take the chance of fucking up my foot more and then take more time off after. Fucking ridiculous.
