I've told myself i'm not going to get this collection at all eventhough i'l a sucker for limited edition and special packaging... but i went there, saw it, hold it and i refuse to let go of it, and burned a hole in my Hello Kitty Collection Fund.

Yes, it's not a typo. it cost $95 for this little thing that is HEAVY and bulky... but limited edition.
I suppos the refill does make it abit better... Kind of.

It comes with it's own little mirror that is actually really handy when you need a sudden touch up. The coverage is just average butthe texture of this powder is just amazing. It's really smooth and easy to apply. It;s really easy to depot too since it's refillable and the pan size is actually the same as the MAC blush. So even after both powders as finish, you can replace it with a blush, though there really isn't a point to carry around a blush.
My MA was commenting how grand it was to just wip out this compact (he did it with action mind you) and do touch up on the MRT, heads will TURN. Hahaha It IS Couture
I've finally brought myself to depot my eyeshadows so i could back to mac for lipsticks...
for tutorial on depotting, so see valtan's blog, she got it up and i'm just too lazy. =D
The process is actually quite easy and fast one you got the hang out of it... I bullied val to come over to help me with it. We took about an hour to depot 28 e/s. Not that bad considering i almost burned my house down when the paper i was using caught fire. =D

Remeber to buy the palettes though, before you start depotting them.
Empty palettes can be bought at MAC Ngee Ann for $25 for 15 pans palettes and $9 for the Quad. The Quan palettes have the transparent cover though, it's those normal ones that you see in the collections with quads. Looks quite cheap to me and totally not worth it unless you're bring colors around or for a holiday.
You can also consider getting Coastal Scent's palettes instead, it cost less than 15 each if i'm not wrong for the 15 pan palette...
Storing the pans away in MAC palettes
I'll totally recomand you to depot if you have lots of eyeshadows, i use to use palette only for pressed pigments but i found myself too lazy to hunt thought the single pots to look for colors to match and tend to leave lots of colors untouched and miss out on with pigments or shadows...
Now, it's all color coded and it's way much easier for me to choose colors to match and no more "omg! i swear i have that color somewhere!"
And at the same time save the environment and get a lipstick in return!
I'm going to guard my palettes with my life though, since each palettes cost 500bucks give or take. gulp
And I'm trying to stop myself from estimating how much i've spend on makeup in total.
Or even just on MAC alone.
