So although I'm now moved in, and semi-unpacked, I'm waiting for my dad to come and do a few more things (mostly hanging to shelves). However my Mom called me this morning to tell me Dad wouldn't be coming today to do the last few things as she was laid off this morning.
Although this isn't a necessarily a bad thing, given all of the politics Mom has been dealing with at work the last while, and how it also had a lot to do with her recent medical leave, it is unexpected. But it does open up some other things, and she has been trying to get a job closer to London, and with her degree almost done, I hope that this doesn't set her back at all and she finds a new job soon.
So yeahs, somewhat of a bummer but hopefully there will be good. I'm glad I'm out of the house now so they don't have to really worry about me.
So the plan for today is to find my way to a grocery store in the snow (its falling again), and do some photos with the bunnies about moving now that the apartment is semi-organized. And other than that, organize more of what I can without my shelves in yet.
