The Family Is Complete!
Since I've discovered Beanie Buddies (the larger version of Beanie Babies), I've been aiming to collect all of the Bunnie ones, Ears, Flippity, Hippity, Hoppity and Hippie. And yesterday, as an holiday gift to myself, I completed the orginal Beanie Buddy group!
Everyone.
Under the cut is the welcoming of the latest edition, image heavy.
Hippity, aka Green (as I can never remember their names) The first one I can remember getting.
Hoppity, aka Pink. The next one and I'm pretty sure the first one I bought myself.
Ears. The only one that lies down. Not as well travelled as the other two.
Flippity, aka The Con Bunnie. Him I'm sure most of you have at some point meet (he even has his own Facebook page!). My faithful con compainion mostly hanging out in my bag and sitting on my panels. I found him in Montreal in grade 12 after having the other three for several years. I was beyond excited to find him! He didn't come with the madi gras beads, he's just worn those since Anime North 2007.
I brought home the box, and the Bunnies gather interested as I said it was their final sibling (they are too innocent to know about the factory in which they were created).
Ears used a knife to open the box (can't see it), while Pink and Green helped open the box, only to see something in the bag.
Ears dragged the box out. Con took the opportunity to sit on top of the box to get a better view of the action.
The bag started to move, so Ears help open it, and up popped another Bunnie! She introduced herself as Hippie!
So excited, Con came down from the box and they all had a big group hug!
Hippie! And the group is now complete!
