I had a holiday in-lieu of Polling Day on May 9, so off to the zoo we went, since it was less crowded on a non-holiday weekday, and we had unlimited tram rides (just realised this has been extended to weekends too).

Typical kiasu Singaporeans we are, we were afraid it will be as crowded as yesterday. Yesterday, the queues for the rides had an average waiting time of 1 hour or more. We couldn't imagine waiting for that long in the hot weather with a fidgety toddler, so we woke up early...

Reading laurapoon 's post made me guilty for not bringing Ezra to the Thomas show. Since we were going to attend a wedding @ Queenstown area, and this week Ezra has been whiny, clingy because my maid who took care of him since 7 months old left us after a 2-year contract, we thought we'd make it up to him and rushed down over to Funan to take a train ride.  ( Read more... )
