(no subject)
Haven't checked in in a while, not that anyone cares. *smile* But I enjoy rereading my journal myself and seeing what others are up to. Christmas was good. The kids have been sick the last week. I went 3 days with little to no sleep taking care of them. I'm so happy to be getting good sleep again except I woke up a couple times last night feeling sick myself. Probably caught the virus from the little buggers.
Troy is happier w/his job. Thank goodness, I can't stand it when he's miserable. Then we're ALL miserable. He got a raise and an extra week of vacation. Its like they know when you are ready to bail. Now he'll have some wiggle room when one of us gets sick and he needs to use his vacation time. Used to be that he'd spend it on time taking care of me after having a baby (he's really nurturing) and then from the colds and viruses he'd catch from the kids. That reminds me of what happened after I had Tess. He was determined to run the household smoothly. He was cleaning, cooking and taking care of the kids. He couldn't understand how he would pick up an area and 30 minutes later it needed picked up again (we had a 6,3 & 2 year old). By day three he told me he needed to get back to work so he could have some rest. Cracked me up! But it was really good for him.
Oh, we are expecting snow this weekend. The kids are excited. I can take it or leave it since we have the Pinewood Derby this weekend. If its snowy or icy I'm not driving. Troy will want to go I guess. Fine he can drive. I might just stay home. I guess it could get postponed.
Anyway, not much going on here. Things are good. I'm trying to not be so hard on myself. Not expecting perfection or anything close to it. LOL Time to scoot on and redirect the troops. Love to all.
