For the last update of the week, we turn last, but not least, to the household of Tomax Sanchez.
For matriarch Quinn, it was the end of the line. She had led a long and good life and went to the end surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren.
Although both the Revolution and death of his mother impacted his greatly, Tomax’s life changed little on the surface. He remained in oceanography, although he was beginning to think that he might do more with his life (which is not to say that his scientific pursuits weren’t noble), but between the lingering fame from his career on the ice and his family connections, he knew that’d he’d likely be able to have his choice of powerful positions.
Binta wasn’t so sure. She didn’t know if the easy-going Tomax was really cut out for the political world and didn’t hesitate to tell him so.
For Binta herself, the next phase of life was upon her as well. She resigned her commission and filled her long-time dream by joining the MKPD, where she quickly excelled and soon became a leader. She enjoyed the force, although she could do without some of the intrigue that was disturbing common amongst the rank-and-file.
Gift became a teen and began looking forward to college. She remained popular and continued to achieve in school. Her twin brothers joined her in school early in the week and tried to follow in her footsteps.
