For Moshe and Xamot, the Revolution changed little about their day-to-day existence.
Neither was, or had ever been, very interested in politics or political discussions and they both successfully maintained friendships and family connections across the aisles.
Moshe finished his residency at SimCity General at the perfect time to receive a promotion and take up a general practitioner position at Monkeykid Hospital, where he quickly became known as a solid doctor who preferred to stay under the radar. Frankly, he preferred it that way, as he had little desire or aptitude for leadership or administrative roles.
Xamot, on the other hand, continued to demonstrate those exact qualities as Superintendent of the Monkeykid Regional School system. Admittedly, her staff was not especially large, but she was good at her job, which had not escaped the notice of higher-ups like Education Minister bin-Fahd.
The children grew into teens.
William went from being an odd-looking child to a handsome young man and found the girls of the town were as interested in him as he them. Will began dating Harriet Bubbler and by the end of the week, the relationship had become intimate, as they took each others’ virginities.
Younger sister Emma grew into a shy and pretty girl, but unlike her brother had yet to find someone with whom she wanted a relationship. She did hope that would change in college, though.
As the week ended, Will and Emma are looking forward to University whilst their parents are looking forward to a quiet house… although it’s not too late for a (much) younger baby brother or sister…
