I have reached the crux of my novel at last. At this point, most of the actual work is done. Except for the actual writing of the second half of the manuscript, which is more physical labor than anything. I've reached something of an impass with my story: introducing the main villain. I know I want his entrance to be creepy and Lovecraftian in a "wtf is that thing over there staring at me?" kind of way.
