(no subject)
I have just finished cleaning off my desk. I put everything I need to do in nice, neat little piles. I have no intentions of actually finishing any of the work that needs to be done, but it's all organized so that when I get to it, I can plow right through it. When, that is.
The countdown continues - 16 days until I leave for Africa and I can't wait! It's been about a month since I did any serious work for my classes (except for the paper I turned in last week...which I got a 15 on which translates to an A...I don't really think it deserved that high of a grade, but I'll take it). I applied for a job yesterday in Massachussetts, the spelling of which I'm not even certain...it would be a great position that would combine my french and cs, but frankly MA isn't anywhere I ever imagined myself to be. It doesn't really fit into my plan for the next 8 months either, but I figure it can't hurt to apply. I've been doing some real job-hunting. I've got my resume all set up, and I've got coverletters going for jobs I want to apply to. I hate coverletters, they suck to write.
Branden's mom called to tell me that everything went well today and I was relieved to hear it. I hope he's doing well.
