Me? Maternal?
Actually this doesn't surprise people most of the time, but it often surprises me. :P
I just spent the week sleeping on the floor due to the lack of bedspace since my brother and three of his kids were here. I spent the week making cinnamon toast, tea, chocolate milk, etc. and often being in the middle of a puppy pile of kids as they would curl up around me to show me this or that game, or just get some attention.
And while these times are very different than my usual artistic and stoic life, I find I love it. It feels like a real life and not a forced one.
I would catch mom smiling at me knowingly every once in awhile like "Hey that really looks good on you, you oughta think about being a mom."
Yeah. I just need to find the right someone to help me. And not just for a *cough* donation. :P
