Well, I've finally had enough of the decibel level of my desktop. So I've grabbed a couple of upgrades that I'll be installing this weekend:
Thermalright XP-90
Nexus 92mm case fan
Plus some Arctic Silver 5.
Yep. This is going to be great. I'm just hoping my video card's fan is the cause; that's going to be another $30 to replace. I'd test by taking out the card and booting up, but my motherboard doesn't like that. The other possibility is that northbridge chipset fan, but that really can't be all THAT loud, could it? Regardless, I think I'll be ordering a $5 (highly recommended) fanless heatsink to replace it whenever I order something from Amazon again. It'd be a good failsafe in case that fan decides to break one day, anyway.
Yeah, I've got nothing else to say. Two exams tomorrow, then finals starting on the 12th.
