re: crisis core play last night + quick FFVII thoughts & A QUESTION!

I'm actually in the middle of doing a lot of things, but I had to post this here!

QUAKE IS THE BEST MAGIC EVER. Er, Materia. I don't know about other games, other FF - I didn't use it much. However, in Zack's playthrough in Crisis Core? Real-time battles where you don't want to get too close to the enemy?

QUAKE.
QUAKE.
QUAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE.

Crisis Core thoughts & question )

Uh. Uh. lol Jade. I don't really remember about the Crisis Core...but I think...GameFAQs..This is a mission guide. You remember the mission name, so just Ctrl+F to find it.

HO HO HO. It's Bugenhagen! It's a German name, so just say "BOO-gin-HAH-gin". Like Doctor Pomeranus? That's how they say his name. And he's not actually related to Nanaki, remember? His father, Seto, remained till the end to stave off the Gi tribe and his mother died trying to protect everyone, right? Well, it's kind of like calling your adopted family "mom" and "dad"-if they raised you, a title is usually typical. And I think Nanaki, because Bugenhagen was old, just called him Grandpa. Haha. Yeah, his design is weird, though. I think it's typical Amano style, but I could be wrong.

Oh man, that photo is interesting. It also paints a much better picture of him than what I realized in the VII graphics, hahah. I thought his body...could float. I was like "WHAT IS HE?!" xD It's just a ball. lolz. I feel dumb.

Ah, thanks for the mission guide. ^^
Also, thanks for helping me with his name. That clears it up much better. Sheesh, boogin. XD

/ahh duh

About Nanaki, that is. You know, I don't like Cosmo Canyon. So, I think when the party was there, I zoned out. I listed to the stuff about the planet and such with Boogin, because it was interesting as hell, but I didn't like all of the ladders...so slow...all of the running...so impatient...and the music made it all worse, because I found it repetitive. Incredibly strange, because I used to love that place/music when I was a kid, but I guess things change. So, I do recall that whole bit now and yes, that makes sense. /feels silly

Temple of the Ancients? I thought...it exploded? Oh, around the back? Hmm. Alrighty then, I'll have to check into that.

Woah, you're like...the only person I've ever heard dislike the Cosmo Canyon. But down in the Gi caves, yeah, I don't blame you. That area's kind of bleh. And Bugen talking all the time. Er. Yeah.

Er? Explode? Eh...No, I don't think so. Haha. Unless you're referring to when the WEAPON awoke, in which case, I don't think it went anywhere. If you haven't used the Key to the Ancient City, you have to take the left path all the way around to the back in the City of the Ancients. He'll put it there and you get to see Aeris again. In a special way.

Oh - that. The forgotten city, that place! I was thinking of the Temple of the Ancients...where you get the keystone. Or, am I just calling them wrong? I really thought that temple you went through in Disc 1 was called the Temple of the Ancients. So...maybe that icy place is the City of the Ancients? Yeah, either way, take a left...I know what you're referring to now. I explored what I could of those paths before, but there wasn't much to look at.

W-what? I get to see Aerith again in a special way? Man, there are some things about this game that I have completely forgotten. (WEAPON, some of Cloud's story, Reeve = Cait Sith, the whole Reunion part where Sephiroth got the Black Materia, sheesh!) I'm all excited to play it tonight, now. :3

Ah yeah, I just didn't care for it. None of it. I liked learning about the planet, but I was so into the main story - find Sephiroth. FIND SEPHIROTH. zomg he was here. NEXT PLACE ZOMG. So...Cosmo Canyon slowed that down for me - but! I do understand why it was necessary. *nods*

Oh. Also. Cait Sith is Reeve. I think they mention it a lot clearer when Kya ha ha says "Playing with your toys again?" In Dirge of Cerberus, though, he's there with the robot.

REEVE. That's right! He was a humanitarian type that they showed talking to Pres. Shinra in the beginning. I remember him! Wow. I'm insanely disappointed. He seemed like a nice guy and all, but I was really hoping it was Tseng, since most of the time when they show the Turks, he's not with. The Turks are quite different, aren't they? Each has a vastly different personality ( ... )

For some reason, I just thought of the Turks like a miniature company. They all have separate employees, and a boss, and then an "owner", who would be Rufus, I guess. They do all sort of dirty work and hardly care. Although Tseng seems to have a backbone ( ... )
