what a fantastic weekend. thursday night was pearl jam. they were awesome. friday i slept in and went shopping. shopped for hours and managed to buy nothing. i don't think i did anything friday night. saturday kim and jim came down with jedi and kim and i took him for some exercise at the lake. then kim, jim and i went to my cousin's graduation party. family quality time ensued. saturday night i went to the burrent with jill and jen and andy met up with us. good times. i haven't been there in a long time and it was good to see them. sunday i spent the day lounging by melissa's pool with her and jill and it was soo nice and relaxing. then we went out to dinner at olivios, which was delicious as per usual. everyone was too tired to do anything on sunday night, so i just relaxed. sunday a bunch of us went to good harbor and now im pink and content. fantastic weekend and i have zero desire to be back at work today. i should be spending every day by the ocean, reading, eating summer fruit, bathing. it's the life for me, really. i hope to someday have a beach-side home to summer at. i can't imagine living in a land-locked state. bunch of fools.
ohh and i had this dream sunday night that i was totally hitting on this older, married man. he was so cute and i was so into it. it was very unlike me to do that, but im guessing it was a reflection on the fedex guy. the married part at least. anyway, i could picture the guys face when i woke up and i knew he was an actor. unfortunately, i didn't know his name or what he had been in. we spent the majory of the morning, off and on, trying to figure out who he was. it wasn't until i got home and did some imdb research that i found out it was dermot mulroney. i alerted the inquiring minds and felt much better after i put it all together.
it was a bit disappointing not having a bf to do things with this weekend. but, as summer approaches, i intend to do my best in finding ways to enjoy being single. that's right. you heard it here first.
