pearl jam
the funny thing about pearl jam is that they look the same. i couldn't see eddie vedder's face, but his hair was long and if his shirt had been different shades of green instead of white and he had climbed up on the balcony and swung around, it could have been the early 90's. i didn't know most of the songs, but the ones i knew were amazing and they sounded just as good as Back Then.
i had the most annoying kids in front of me. they must have been on E because they kept on putting their arms around each other, touching each other's heads, pushing each other's faces with their hands. one of them was huge and i was a bit worried he was going to fall on me.
funny story - i was standing on the corner of friend street, people watching, and i spy a kid standing across the street. he looked familiar, but i couldn't place him. a bit later, he came over to me, saying the same thing i was thinking. turns out he did the plumbing in my office a few months back. he's very cute and we hang out for about an hour or so, people watching and talking. he had two seats, but didn't have anyone for the second. i felt like i should have sat with him, but my seat was really good and his was really shitty. does that make me a bad person? anyway, small world.
