Another semester has come and gone...
I did pretty well, I have to say. My profs were very generous toward grading my work, in my opinion. No matter how hard I work, I'm never satisfied - it's incredibly hard for me to believe that my work deserves the good marks it is given. There's always more stuff that could have been done to make it better, I could always have done more drafts of the terms papers, etc. But whatever, it's over, and I did well, so DROP IT!
But now that school is over for the semester, I am faced with three months that are pretty open, and that means that it's time for me to start thinking about the stuff I've put on the back burner in the name of the immediate issues of class, and now I have to face the music. I've got a lot to do this summer, and I'm nervous that no deadlines will mean that I don't do anything. In the next three months I HAVE HAVB HAVE to:
-take my GREs and Subject Test
-Write my Statement of Purpose and get people to look over it
-revise old papers to use for writing samples and have people look over them
-Figure out what schools I'm applying to
-contact those schools and get the applications ready
-Get my letters of recommendation in order
-FIGURE OUT WHAT THE FUCK I AM GOING TO DO WITH MY LIFE
Ah, this stuff is truly un-fun.
