...Whoever said that nothing hurts quite like a burn was right. Every sort of injury has its own brand of ouch but a burn is something quite intriguing. It's perfectly invisible, but every time I look down, I expect to see raw nerve endings writhing in the open air it stings so much.

What in the world is going on? Why is everyone...

...Well, more importantly, is anyone here hurt?

...The infirmary's tools are extremely lacking.

It's... rather sad.

But I suppose if they manage to save someone's life, I can accept the lack of proper tools for now.

Though come wartime, they will certainly not suffice. I just hope the Warden and others are aware of that.

...So I guess I'm not dead yet, but I may be soon if I keep getting kidnapped.

If they wanted a surgeon for a war effort, all they had to do was ask, not drug me or something. Though that's not a guarantee I would've consented in the first place.
