Well, some pretty decent news, Paul got called for his first subbing gig today. Of course this is no guarantee that he's going to continue to get called, we shall see. He's subbing at one of the middle schools today.
Me? I can't fucking sleep through the night no matter what I do. Nearly always up around 4 or 4:30 regardless of what time I go to bed the night before. The only thing I haven't tried so far is Ambien and that's only because I haven't found them...
I hate this fuzziness in my brain. Feels like I can't think, like nothing will come out right...
Morgan has been sick in the morning several days in a row. I made him go to school this morning anyway because he's been throwing up ONCE in the morning and then fine the remainder of the day. *sigh* This will be the day he gets REALLY sick, of course...
GAH. I'm tired.
Several points of interest (mine, maybe not yours):
*I have an excellent office network person in my best friend. He networked my office computers and got my "good" printer up and running, and then updated both computers... they're both running better than they have in ages. *smooch* Many thanks to you, Maddness.
*Girlchick is worrying me.
*Paul is truly an understanding human being.
*Gizmo is an excellent bearer of office beer.
*Pupchick is going to get her ass kicked anytime now.
*Wells Fargo does, indeed, suck ass.
*There is a median on E 14th St outside the QT which is somewhere between Washington and Euclid Ave. If one is unaware of this and attempts to turn left right out of the parking lot, one ends up either 1) driving over the median or 2) driving like hell in the oncoming traffic lane to get away from the median and onto the right side of the street. If one does the latter, one just fucking ROCKS if one manages to do this without killing self or others.
*I fucking rock.
*While I have not managed to get the computers at home networked, I HAVE managed to install XP on Paul's as well as Norton Systemworks on both mine and Paul's. I'm debating the wisdom of installing XP on Morgan's... or what was SUPPOSED to be Morgan's... I don't know, the computer that was originally going to be Paul's has a lot of RAM but a slow processor, Morgan wants to use his computer games which require a lot of RAM. The computer that we ORIGINALLY had in Wilton (with a writable CD drive) is decent but has no sound card (hence Morgan wants nothing to do with it). The computer that we most recently had in Wilton is decent but has little RAM. ugh. This is one of those times I really wish I knew a whole hell of a lot more about computers and playing with circuits and such than I do... we have all these COMPONENTS but no one computer that really meets our needs, other than this one (and since it's not MINE but my agency's...).
*For the sake of Paul's and my sanity and the sake of our marriage continuing, it is critical that I get the network set up at home SOON so we can both be online. It's also critical for the sake of the sanity of our family that Morgan have a functioning computer capable of loggin onto MSN Messenger soon.
*I am tired.
