Second Time's the Charm
Aerosmith tickets went on sale this morning for their 7 August date in Tampa. I am sucker and bought one - for $20 more than the last summer's. Here's is hoping that Steven Tyler doesn't decide to dive off a stage in South Dakota again.
I was feeling bad enough to go see the doctor yesterday. Turns out the headache was a precursor to the nasty stomach virus that has been going around. I feel somewhat better today because I followed MD instructions to not eat dairy. Sucks, though, no daily yogurt - which usually keeps me from getting this nonsense. More importantly, no ice cream with birthday cake...FAIL!
I am still hoping to get to Star Wars Weekends tomorrow. I love me some Ray Park (aka Darth Maul, Snake Eyes...) thanks to wicked_swann and I owe her a CD of the photos and video that I took last weekend. Two appearances during Star Wars Weekends and he'll be coming to Celebration in August, too. Yeah, it's been a good year to be a fan.
I'll be taking it easy today watching some World Cup action. This has been a good sports year - Winter Olympics and World Cup. Can't wait to see Steven Gerrard play for England this afternoon. Thanks to Beckham bowing out after the 2006 Cup, Gerrard is captain. Whoohoo!
