An expected oddness took me this morning, and I find myself wondering if I should expand my job and housing search southish, towards DC/MD area.

beware the massive, soulcrushing suburbia that surrounds dc.

It would be awesome to have you around. Let me know if there's a particular job you're getting serious about down here, I'll try to help you take a look at the logistics; hopefully I'll be more useful than before.

Oddly enough, I got a flurry of things from DC that just came up, the only issue that it doesn't take care of, is housing. I'm really hesitant to explore stuff without that taken care of.

If you need help determining locations, or what would be good, or whatever, just let me know. I'm happy to provide input.

Also, you could come down for a weekend to see things and look at places sometime and crash either with the boys at my old house or with King.

I think there's sufficient housing in DC for you to find something that's pretty OK on a month's notice or so...I'd imagine that any job you'd get wouldn't require you to start as soon as you're accepted.

If they DID, I'm equally sure that you could couch-surf until you found a place, and probably be pretty happy doing so.

So, I'd promote applying for jobs and then dealing with housing if necessary.

east towards Philly. Like you know Harrisburg or say Lancaster :P

Although I am only like 2 or so hours from Baltimore and like 2.5 from DC/MD...
