catching most of sleater-kinney's set. hi, they are rock stars. it was a huge rock show at a huge venue with a trillion people, felt a lot like going through the motions, like a well-rehearsed sequence of "greatest hits." when did that happen?
sleater kinney depresses me for that exact reason. i just finished writing this thing about assasinating rock stars to take their place, and specified corin tucker. its for my zine and i'm nervous people will take it too seriously and not see the satire. but i think it's brillant and halarious so ill have to take that risk.

and hi yumi. you're cool. i hope you're doing well.

hi yumles, i forgot about the show (i'm so not in the show-going state of mind these days) & now i'm really bummed about it. but it's good i was at home for a particular phone call anyway. taryn showed me the new s-k album on the train weeks ago, & we were both like "how many rockstar publicity shots can one band produce?!" let's hang out this weekend, okay?

I told you not to miss the Quails! ;)

Seriously, they are the best part of the tour. I guess you met 'em and saw how sweet they are though.

awe yumi - you missed the quails?
I just saw them with Sleater- Kinney on saturday night in Cleeveland. They did play some good tunes from "Call the Doctor", but the Quails did rock out!

I thought the Cleveland show was pretty darn good - the places wasn't packed like Sardines even though the show sold out. I bopped around and danced too!whoo hoo!
