Today I have been to a funeral. Today is February 6, the anniversary of the 1958 Munich
air disaster when Man Utd lost seven of manager Matt Busby's "babes" (an eighth died later). The coincidence is that the departed, aged 98, was the younger sister of the air hostess who survived that crash. The date of the funeral could not have been deliberate as it was a cremation and, in this area, funeral dates are dictated by the availability of the crem.
