Thanks! Bella is definitely not doing so hot, but yes, at least we know she's IC. ;) In this situation, I do tend to think Jake would make himself be calm enough to help her.

Aww- these kinds of fics always make me feel a little sad. Poor Bella and Jacob having to get jobs and live in hiding. LOL at Bella's surprise over Jacob's morning glory.

Another thing I thought was a nice touch- how Jacob is trying to put his feelings to one side to look after Bella but without being a horn-dog about it :) I see the 'God I want to bang Bella's brains out, but she needs my support- must. Control. erection!' a lot, so it's nice to see a Jacob who isn't ruled by his genitals.

I agree! It's rough just throwing yourself into the RL, especially if you're young. And feeling your best friend's morning glory would definitely be a surprise. ;)

And thank you! Trying to balance him being a standard teenage boy (who's gonna uh, rise to the occasion and have impure thoughts), but also be who I really think he'd be if he saw the girl he loves suffering. A little hard, but I'm glad you like. :)
