I don't know why people get so bent out of shape when Jacob and Bella and Edward act like real people. I could totally see Edward kissing Bella - and even though Bella knows she loves Jacob, I could see her being very confused about it. I could also see SIXTEEN year old Jacob, freaking out a little.

Pretty much everyone was okay with it! I thought it was all understandable reactions (not to mention Jake actually DID run away at the end of Eclipse so it's canon).

Although *giggles* I have to say I totally gasped when Edward kissed her - I DOUBLY gasped when I read Jacob SAW IT - and I practically SCREAMED when Jake saw Lindsay in the bar! LOL

LOL Well, that's what I was trying to aim for, so I'm glad it worked. ;)

Loved this chapter! All of it. Edward's fraction of a second memory - the Hitler-like vampire wanting a superior race - Edward kissing Bella - Jacob seeing it - Jacob seeing Lindsay - him going to stay at Lindsay's house - the almost kiss with her - all of it!
Don't apologize for a little angst. It makes things interesting! And real.

Thanks hun! I'm glad you liked it. :) And I agree that the angst makes it more interesting.. but I feel like sometimes I need to add a disclaimer. lol I know a few instances in previous chapters I got questions about why on certain things, so I figured I'd beat everyone to the punch. hehe

Is it just me or are people not reviewing much anymore on LJ? Is it because it's summer? Intoxicating is going strong on ffnet, but here on LJ it seems to have cooled off. :/

It does sort of seem that way. I don't typically get a lot of reviews on LJ, but even SOB and TATS have been really slow. Hopefully everyone's just busy at the moment and come back soon! FFnet is still the best for me, too, though on JBnP it seems to range.
