I've made it no secret, particularly here, that I enthusiastically supported McCain for president and apart from Obama's policy on terror strongly disagree with pretty much everything he's done.

We all love quotes. They make us feel all inspired inside and whatnot. But rarely do you come across one that genuinely challenges you. I heard such a quote today at a middle school conference and, as a teacher, it made me seriously question the way I work with children. My 6th grade classes are producing their own plays. They've repeatedly gone to another teachers room to get big sheets of paper for their scenes. One student comes to my desk to ask to go get some paper for the third time.

"Not anymore," I say. "Tell your classmates no more paper."

She turns around and screams, "HEY GUYS!! NO MORE PAPER!!"
