Character name: Luke fon Fabre
Canon: Tales of the Abyss
Character description: Luke, in his own world, is incredibly associated with all kinds of flame imagery. His name literally means "Light of the Sacred Flame" in Ancient Ispanian. He also shares a fonon frequency (sort of a DNA/life signature) with Lorelei - which is essentially the embodiment and manifestation of sound - and Asch, who he is a replica (or clone) of. His power is that of hyperresonance, an extremely dangerous power that can break down all matter into its base components ( ... )

Character name: Jade Curtiss
Canon: Tales of the Abyss
Character description: Jade is very, very intelligent but also very, very lazy. He prefers not to exert himself unless completely necessary, delegating tasks such as explaining and pushing boxes to other people, even when he's perfectly capable of doing so and might even do it better. He's also very snarky and trolly, and has a brilliant poker face, making him a good liar. In addition, he's very perceptive and good at reading people. On the other hand, he himself is coldly logical, willing to do the 'right' thing no matter how morally reprehensible or emotionally damaging it might be to others.

Combat-wise, he uses a spear, but his main method of attacking is through Fonic Artes (magic). He has spells from every element except darkness, although he's supposed to be able to control that too. He can't use healing spells at all.

Here is a picture of Jade. Note the Pacman belt.

Any ideas? I was thinking something...blue? I like blue. And Jade's very blue too. If nobody has any ideas ( ... )

I saw 'blue' and 'psychic' and my gut reaction was Metang-->Metagross. The fact that it's got kind of a robotic feel to it lends itself to the p-p-poker face as well as the cold logic, I think.

Of course, it's nowhere near as pretty as Jade is and lacks any connection to Pacman, so I'm not sure if it's the best suggestion...!

Thanks for this! Yeah, I think it captures his rationality pretty well, but it doesn't quite show Jade's playful side. I've decided to go with Totodile (for now, since I'm prone to changing my mind a lot fffff)!

Character name: Conan Edogawa (Shinichi Kudo)
Canon: Detective Conan
Character description: Very, very smart and observant. He cares strongly about justice and finding the truth. Conan likes puzzles and riddles, and is obsessed with solving mysteries. He also likes soccer and reading mystery novels. He is also very stubborn, has practically no sense of humor, and is a horrible spoilsport.

Conan has no special abilities of his own, beyond his skills and knowledge as a detective. He normally depends on a variety of gadgets to assist him in his cases. Using them, he can put people to sleep, change his voice, and take out criminals by kicking things at them.

Any ideas? I'm leaning toward mudkip (for it's size, cuteness and ability to detect danger), but I would love to hear any other suggestions ( ... )

Mudkip is an awesome idea.

Would an Abra or Ralts/Krilia be small enough, though?

I saw that Mudkip had some kind of 'detect danger' ability, which fits really well with Conan. (And given his track record, he needs something like that.)

Hmm, Abrs is a little too tall, but Ralts might work.

It does, and even the coloring fits well with Conan.

Character name: Mr. H
Canon: Sanae Hanekoma
Character description: Mr. H is a troll, coffee barista (and lover), and player of confused, teenage kids. He values relationships (and shibuya's existence) the most. He's also an internet famous artist, from Shibuya.

He is mostly compared to cats. CATS being his artistic pen-name, his coffee shop being the "Wildkat", and his last name containing the characters for Cat.
Any ideas? I've been looking at Smeargle (Painter Pokemon), Purrloin (And the other cat like pokemon...there's not much), Kleceon, and am leaning towards Purrloin, but any suggestions would be helpful

The alley-cat-ish Pokemon are Meowth and Purrloin, and I think I can see Hanekoma as a Purrloin more than a Meowth.

Mr. H: so cool he is his own canon

Yeah, Purrloin fits a lot better in looks, typing, all three ablities, and classification. (And it does help that the evo is a leopard based one)

Did I seriously do...I BLAME RAN

Character name: Lavi
Canon: D.Gray-man

Character description: Lavi is quite well-read and intelligent, (almost) never forgetting anything. He's not exactly a nerd, though. He's bratty, enjoys making jokes, draws on people's faces while they're asleep and can be an all around nuisance if given the opportunity. That said, he knows when to be serious and when jokes are needed to alleviate tension.

Image of what he looks like! The eye patch will be added as an accessory.

Flames are something that can be associated with him but, in actuality, he has command over all the elements with the weapon he uses in canon. His most commonly used ability relates to fire, though.

Any ideas? I've contemplated making him a Flareon if only because I started doing that in the games when I played them - which...isn't a decent justification, really. Looking over other Pokes, I though of Chimchar and Buneary but the latter doesn't exactly fit in terms of personality.

Halp? :D;

Maybe a Rotom? It fits the mischievous personality as well as the red coloring, and it allows him to use multiple elements. He could just prefer the heat form.

Might be hard to find appliances, though. XD
