Canon: Tales of the Abyss
Character description: Luke, in his own world, is incredibly associated with all kinds of flame imagery. His name literally means "Light of the Sacred Flame" in Ancient Ispanian. He also shares a fonon frequency (sort of a DNA/life signature) with Lorelei - which is essentially the embodiment and manifestation of sound - and Asch, who he is a replica (or clone) of. His power is that of hyperresonance, an extremely dangerous power that can break down all matter into its base components.
Personality-wise, Luke is generally a caring person, even back when he was more of a brat. From the canon point I'm taking him from, he's currently going through a huge bout of depression and hit to his self-confidence. He's very unsure of himself, who he is and his personal identity, but when the time comes and Auldrant needs him, he's determined to do what he can, regardless - it's part of what he feels he needs to do to keep making up for his mistakes. Even if he feels like a failure for having made them (or even being born, if he spirals downward enough).
Any ideas? Right now I'm torn between three Pokemon: Growlithe, Torchic and Eevee. Growlithe and Torchic because of the flame imagery, and Eevee because, as a replica, Luke's body is described as being unstable, while an Eevee's DNA is unstable.
